About the Bank

Raiffeisen Bank Aval Public Joint Stock Company (JSC Raiffeisen Bank Aval) was registered on 27 March 1992 (operated under the brand name of Joint Stock Postal Pension Bank Aval until 25 September 2006). Since October 2005, the bank has been part of Raiffeisen International Bank Holding AG Group, Austria (since October 2010 Raiffeisen Bank International AG). As of 31 March 2016, the RBI Group held 68.28% of Raiffeisen Bank Avals authorized capital, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development owned 30% of the authorized capital of the bank.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval provides a wide range of standard and innovative banking services to more than 2.6 million customers through its nationwide network, which comprised, as of the end of March 2016, 577 outlets located in big cities, provincial and community centers throughout Ukraine.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval maintains its leadership in the service quality in the Ukrainian banking sector. According to GfK Ukraine, which is specialized in market researches, the reputation of the bank outreaches the average market one.

Substantial successes of the bank are traditionally recognized by reputable editions and experts, rating companies, partners and customers in Ukraine and abroad. Since the beginning of the year 2016, the bank has been recognized in the annual project Banks Financial Strength Rating 2016 of the Forbes Ukraine magazine: Raiffeisen Bank Aval for the second year running joined the group of banks with the highest level of financial strength (Group ) and became the most reliable Ukrainian bank among Top 10 financial institutions in terms of assets.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval also headed the reliability rating of the big and biggest banks in Ukraine, made by the Dengi magazine.

For the second year running, Raiffeisen Bank Aval has become the winner in the nomination Best Financial Institution in the Agro Industrial Complex within the framework of the Agrobrand 2016 all-Ukrainian competition.
