Without opening an account: Western Union

Raiffeisen Bank Aval is one of the largest agents of the Western Union company in Ukraine. About 2, 700 agencies of Raiffeisen Bank Aval and its partner banks are working under the Western Union system, where you can send and receive cash from/in any country of the world.

Advantages of the system Western Union:

To conduct transactions via the Western Union system neither sender nor addressee needs to open a bank account in the Bank (except for situations stipulated by the legislation )
Money transfers via Western Union are effected within a few minutes and can be made in over 140 thousand offices of Western Union in 196 countries around the world
High security
In addition to transfers between individuals there is a service — Quick Pay — for transfers from individuals to a corporate entity that has concluded a corresponding contract with Western Union. A list of such companies, can be found in any Western Union agency.

How to send money transfer:

Address to any banking institution working with the Western Union system
Fill in the form «For sending money», indicating your personal data (surname, name, address, phone), data of the addressee (surname, name, country of receiving), the amount of the transfer and the required additional services (delivery of the transferred funds, telephone or telegraphic messages, a message for the addressee, a checking question).
Submit your passport.
Pay for the money transfer and additional services.
Inform the addressee of a 10-digit money transfer checking number (MTCN), given to you by the operator.

How to receive a money transfer:

Contact any agency of Western Union.
Fill in the form «For receiving money», indicating the surname and the name of the sender, your personal data, the country of receiving, the amount of the transfer and the checking number of the transfer.
Submit your passport.
After the verification of all the data, receive your money in US dollars, euro (only for some Eurozone countries) or hryvnas. Currency conversion is made automatically at the rate effective at the moment of payment.

You can verify the status of a transfer via Western Union here, if you know the money transfer checking number (MTCN) and the name of the sender or the names of the sender and the recipient.

Transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
