Migration to the new format of international bank accounts

Starting from August 5, 2019, Raiffeisen Bank Aval will open new accounts for the Customers according to IBAN standard. From August 5 to October 31, 2019, the Bank will independently substitute the account numbers of all Customers with the IBAN number according to the requirements of the standard. The Bank also informs the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine on the change of the account details of persons conducting independent professional activities, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. The Bank shall independently (without the application of customers) provide to the respective bodies the list of account numbers according to IBAN standard to which the funds are accrued by the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine/social protection bodies.

The migration to accounts in IBAN format will be announced in:

  • Raiffeisen Online (for current and deposit accounts of private individuals);
  • in Raiffeisen Business Online (for accounts of persons conducting independent professional activities, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities);
  • Branch of the Bank.

Starting from the migration of accounts to IBAN format, IBAN must be indicated in the payment documents. If the account number is already substituted with the number according to IBAN standard, from August 5 to October 31, 2019 both current account number with the code of the Bank (MFO) and numbers according to IBAN standard may be indicated in payment documents. For the correct fulfillment of paper payment orders by the Bank, from August 5 to October 31, 2019 current account number with the code of the Bank (MFO) shall be indicted in account details.

 If there are any changes in registration that were not reported to the Bank, persons conducting independent professional activities, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities shall apply to the branch that manages the account with the respective documents to update and indicate the correct data until August 5, 2019. For the correct migration of the accounts to the IBAN standards, your data provided to the Bank and to the State Fiscal Service must be identical.

Starting from November 1, 2019, accounts of persons conducting independent professional activities, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities, which tax authorities refuse to enter into records, will not be available for the withdrawal transactions and cashless transfers until the Customer applies to the Branch of the Bank to find out and handle the reason!

To import payments and export statements under accounts in Raiffeisen Business Online you must independently change the respective settings in the system until August 5, 2019. Please study payments import and statements.
