Szymon Mitoraj is appointed the Board Member of Raiffeisen Bank Aval

He will be responsible for retail business of the bank.

Supervisory Board of Raiffeisen Bank Aval has taken the decision to appoint Szymon Mitoraj the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. He will take up his duties since 1 October 2020 and will be head of retail business in Raif.

Szymon Mitoraj (40 years old) is originally from Poland, has more than 15 years of experience in finance services sector (banking and insurance) within international and Polish companies, such as ING Group, TMB Bank, PZU, including 12+ years in managerial roles.

His main tasks in Raiffeisen Bank Aval will be developing retail business digital strategy, network transformation, development of multichannel service, provision of financial performance.

Robert Kossmann, who was previously responsible for retail business of the bank for 15 years and managed to transform this branch of Raif’s operations into large and profitable business line with great growth prospects, left Raiffeisen Bank Aval on September 30, 2020.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval JSC was founded on 27 March 1992. Since October 2005, the bank has become part of the Austrian banking group Raiffeisen Bank International AG. As at 30 June 2020, Raiffeisen Group owned 68.28 per cent of the shares of the bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development hold 30 per cent of the bank’s stock. 

Raiffeisen Bank Aval offers a wide range of standard and innovative services to 2.5 million clients through its nation-wide regional network of about 453 branches all around Ukraine as at the end of June 2020.
