Raiffeisen Bank Aval continues to lead in the deposit reliability

Kyiv. March 27. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval again became the leader in the Banking deposit reliability (attractiveness) rating. This time Standard rating (Ukraine) RA made the twenty-fourth rating according to the performance results of the Ukrainian banks in 2018.

“Raiffeisen Bank Aval is traditionally at the top of the Rating of reliability (attractiveness) of banking deposits”, says the message of the rating agency. “During 2018 the Bank decreased its NPLs by 40.64%; as of the beginning of 2019, the NPL share amounts to just 9.65% in the Bank’s loan portfolio, which is 5.7 times less that the average market share of NPLs in the banking loan portfolio. In 2018, the Bank had a record high profit in the amount of UAH 5.088 billion. Raiffeisen Bank Aval also showed record high profitability.

Commenting on the total results of the Ukrainian banking system in 2018, the authors of the rating define the year 2018 as “the period of prominent growth”.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval remains among the leaders in the Ukrainian banking market as regards the volume of the raised funds of private individuals, showing positive dynamics – in the end of 2018 the respective indicator of the Bank amounted to more than UAH 23 billion.
