Raif is again leading in the rating of the most reliable Ukrainian banks, — Novoye Vremia magazine

We are grateful for the recognition!

Raiffeisen Bank Aval continues to receive the awards as the best Ukrainian bank – it is the fifth time in a row when it leads in the rating of the most reliable Ukrainian banks generated by the investment company Dragon Capital and published by the magazine Novoye Vremia.

It is stated in the magazine that Raif’s net profit for eight months of 2020 constituted UAH 2.7 b and our bank is still one of the most profitable banks in Raiffeisen Group.

“[This year] the business-model of the bank has not changed significantly, - commented for NV Oleksandr Pysaruk, Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank Aval. – Raif remains the biggest private bank in our country that services all segments of customers via the broad network of branches, ATMs, terminals and digital channels”. He claims that coronacrisis sped up the migration of customers to online mode and development of digital channels.

This year the rating included 15 Ukrainian banks. The position of each bank in the rating was determined by the investment company Dragon Capital, considering the amount of scores the financial institution got based on the indicators of capital adequacy, liquidity, trust of depositors, shareholders’ support, profitability, quality of assets, as well as a number of qualitative indicators (transparency of the bank’s operations, balance, risk management, reputation).

“The stability of the domestic banking sector surprised many people. Despite the fact the NBU prohibited to charge penalties for the delayed servicing of certain loans during the lockdown period, financial institutions remained profitable and the liquidity appeared to be sufficient on their accounts,” – states the article in NV.

Since the beginning of 2020, the bank has been named “Best Bank in Ukraine” by experts of the reputable international magazines Global Finance, EMEA Finance and Euromoney.

Raif has topped a number of ratings in Ukraine, namely: the rating of reliability of large Ukrainian banks by the Groshi magazine; the rating of viability of Ukrainian banks by the Minfin portal; the rating of viability of Ukrainian banks by the business portal Mind; the Rating of Reliability (Attractiveness) of Bank Deposits by Standard Rating (Ukraine). And the bank has been also named the best non-state bank in the country according to the rating “50 Leading Ukrainian Banks 2020” by the “Financial Club” company.
