Raiffeisen Bank Aval tops again the Ukrainian banks’ viability rating — Mind

Kyiv. 12 March. — Raiffeisen Bank Aval continues to be the leader of the Ukrainian banks’ viability rating, made by the Mind business portal by the results of the year 2018.

According to Mind, Raiffeisen Bank Aval leads in the rating in view of the fact that it significantly improved the quality of its loan portfolio in the previous year and has a good liquidity position and a good return on equity.

Mind is an independent journalist business portal. Its viability rating of banks is an information project of assessing the reliability of the largest financial institutions in Ukraine: the rating covers the banks, which market share exceeds 0.2 per cent of all solvent banks.

As before, the rating is based on a number of factors that determine the viability of banks, namely: capital adequacy, quality of a loan portfolio, profitability, liquidity position, support and risks of the owners, continuity of payments, systemic importance of banks, risk of an open currency position.

By the results of measuring all these indicators, Raiffeisen Bank Aval has more than once taken the highest position in the rating of the Mind portal.
