Employees of Raiffeisen Bank Aval again helped seriously ill children

Kyiv. 21 August. – For the fourth year running, employees of Raiffeisen Bank Aval have been participating in an open-ended fund-raising event «Help those in need» aimed at the support of children with oncological and other serious diseases. The event has been launched in cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation «Zaporuka».

Employees of the bank have voluntarily joined the fund-raising event by transferring their costs on a special account in the «Zaporuka» foundation on a monthly basis. These funds are used for purchasing medicines for seriously ill children from low-income families.

In 2Q 2019, owing to the support from employees of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, the charitable foundation   provided aid to five small patients of the Children’s Neurosurgery Unit of the Neurosurgery Institute after A. Romodanov and of the Children’s Unit of the National Cancer Institute to the total amount of almost 33,000 hryvnias.

Among these children are: Vitaliy T. from Ivano-Frankivsk; Vania V. from Kirovohrad oblast; Rostyslav G. from Kharkiv oblast; Oleksandra D. from Zhytomyr oblast (the children were treated at the Neurosurgery Institute), and also Valeria G. from Donetsk oblast, who had a treatment course in the National Cancer Institute.

The charitable event «Help those in need» in Raiffeisen Bank Aval is going on.

Volunteers of the bank also regularly take part in other charity and donor events, demonstrating their social activity and caring about those who need help most of all.
