Keep your card data confidential.

If anyone calls you, do not disclose any of the following, despite any introduction they make:
• PIN-code of the card
• Its validity term
• 3 figures on the back of the card (CVV2/CVC2-code)
• Passwords sent via SMS
• Password to “Raiffeisen Online” Internet-Banking
Do not disclose the above mentioned data to any third parties, despite any introduction they make.
The Bank has all the necessary information for servicing your card.

Important!

To receive a money transfer on your card it is enough to indicate your card number (16 figures) and your full name only.

Any request to disclose the validity term of the card, its PIN-code, 3 figures on the back of your card (CVV2/CVC2 code), card balance or any passwords should arouse suspicion

If you call the Informational centre of the Bank, its operator verifies your identity and may ask:
• your card number
• pass-word to your account
• identification data (full name, date of birth, passport data)


Right after receiving a card connect it to 3D-Secure and Mobile banking SMS after each crediting or debiting of funds from your card account.

3D-Secure: SMS with a one-time password to confirm your transaction on any Internet payments;

Mobile banking: SMS after each crediting or debiting of funds from your card account.

 

PIN-code usage

PIN-code entering is required only when you perform transactions in:
- ATMs
- self-service centres
- point-of-sale terminals (payments in a retail network)

Keep
your PIN-code, login and password to “Raiffeisen Online” Internet-Banking out of the reach of bystanders and do not disclose them to anyone else.
Do not write
your PIN-code on your payment card or paper sheet, and do not keep it next to your card.
Do not ask
Do not ask strangers for any help in using your payment card or Internet-Banking.
You can
change your PIN-code for any other code suitable for you in ATMs or at the cash desks of Raiffeisen Bank Aval branches.
 

Use of ATMs

Double-check the visual appearance of ATM before using it
Having detected any suspicious devices on the keyboard or near the card receptacle (a slot for inserting the card), do not use this ATM and notify. the ATM-owning Bank about the fact

While entering the PIN-code in the ATM or at the trade network outlet, please make sure that no one else could notice it.

Internet payments and transfers


Never enter your PIN-code in the Internet

Using 3D Secure to carry out any Internet payments you will receive an SMS with a one-time password to confirm the transaction.
This will ensure the maximum protection level of your Internet payments.

For payments for purchases in the Internet it’s enough to enter only:

– your card number
– its validity term
– CVV2/CVC2 code
- one-time password
(if the Internet site supports the 3D Secure technology)
Use only protected and verified websites, beginning with https:// or having the closed lock picture near its Internet address. Perform payment transactions only on a protected computer with limited access for the third parties Timely upgrade your operation system and anti-virus programmes

When paying online beware of phishing websites. The list of known phishing websites is available on the EMA Ukrainian interbank association of payment systems website.

 

Card payment in sales and service network

Card payment shall be always made in your presence. Do not let anyone make payment without you. Follow a sales person to the POS-terminal to perform payment if necessary. Before signing the payment cheque, please make sure that the amount, currency and card number indicated therein are correct. In case of rejection of a purchase or return of goods ensure that a seller has really cancelled the transaction, and receive a cheque confirming the transaction cancellation Pay for purchases with payment cards using Visa and MasterCard contactless technology. Your card should stay in your hands at all times - there is no need to hand it to the cashier. .
